Everton are just set up to defend. Defend, defend, defend, they love it. No surprise they got those three successive 0-0's against Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. Would have been another today if not for giving them a stupid pen.

I did. How do you break that down? They're just built to defend. Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City couldn't score against them in the past month. They're just too damn good at the defending thing.

Well, I didn't go in with the expectation that we would win, because I know they are bloody good at the defending thing. I didn't realise just HOW good they are at it until I watched the game. They're pretty darn brilliant at it, it turns out.

A turgid horrible viewing. They came did a job and won. I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than watch that 105 minutes ever again.
