How about don't plan all week not to start our TWO most in form players. Don't talk about wanting players to develop relationships on the pitch then just make a needless change. Gruda an inverted winger coming inside making the pitch even more congested. The mind boggles.

He is lucky to work for Brighton. We are not lucky to have him currently.

Pumping balls into the box for Dickford to catch. When they actually had a few players in our half we pass back or sideways.
Mitoma has lost the will or the skill to go past a defender.
Forget any hope of Europe. We will be lucky to finish top half.

Disagree. If they’d been poor at what they were doing, they’d have lost. There are no poor teams in the PL, they simply don’t get this far. They were ugly, but completely effective.

Like I posted earlier, we set up camp around the 18 box and no creative player drops back to try to find a way through. They all line up with the Everton defenders and Veltman or Van Hecke were trying to thread the needle. Someone like Enciso, when he was here, or Ayari, Rutter, Pedro needs to drop back and take that job on.

people keep saying that everton made it a tough game but playing turgid, dark arts football and working to their strengths, which is true, but it’s really unimpressive how we’re incapable of turning in a good performance unless the conditions are absolutely perfect. zero bottle in face of adversity.

...... and let the scapegoating begin, let's fixate on FH, because it's all his fault, even though that's only the 5th game we've lost in 23.

I find it fascinating that the forum is all sweetness and light following 3 wins on the bounce, but we get a result we don't like, the knives come out!

Everton were excellent today, game plan worked and we'd had got a draw if it wasn't for a hopeful ball over the top causing Joel's brain fart - but of course that's down to FH's coaching ;-)

It's not easy playing against a brick wall when the other side has no intention of attacking - it's the tried and tested way of getting a point or nicking 3 - great teams sometimes struggle to break them down, we're just a good team imho....

Anyway, got to love the PL - Nuno is obviously a cack manager, how can he get NF to 3rd in the PL and then get spanked 5-0 at Muff?
