Match of the Day analysis last week was all about Mitoma and Minteh playing together, I assumed they'd start together.
That was tactical because united are getting used to playing three at the back. Keeping wingers out wide won’t work against competent teams and managers.

Bit disappointed Minteh is not there at start, physical player needed against the Orcs

Some strange comments from the great unknowing on twitter. I like the fact there is a core 20 odd players in rotation, especially midfield and wings. We don't want to bugger up the team by running them into the ground and then not having enough left for the rest of the season, do we? :glare:

I'm starting to think he plans for the assumption that the first half is going to be tight trench warfare.

And deliberately holds some weapons back for the second half when it opens up.

My only slight issue is I'm not sure there's much Gruda cam do that Rutter can't and he's much more physical

I can see the logic of this team. There will be no space in behind unless we take the lead and they are chasing the game and so Minteh second half makes more sense. They will sit in a low block so Gruda might be more effective.
Far too sensible
