Champions League tonight - Brest away to Shakhtar Donetsk - Sima on the bench, now subbed on , and Feyenoord (Osman on the bench) are at home to Brian Munich.

More involvement in The Championship -
Portsmouth (with O'Mahony - still out injured) entertain Stoke, with Moran starting;
Sheffield Wednesday (with Beadle in goal) entertain Brizzle City. while Burnley (with Sarmiento on the bench) make the long trip down to Plymouth.
Out of curiosity, went onto the Stoke forum to see what their impression has been of Moran.

Safe to say, not good. This isn't an isolated comment:

"I don’t rate Moran but I was happy to give him a bit of leeway because we are really poor at the moment.

However he has been disastrous tonight. He holds onto the ball for two touches too long, doesn’t put his foot in, doesn’t show for the ball, has absolutely zero physical presence and brings nothing to a team that is in a battle."

Those comments certainly aren't good. Didn't seem that unfavourable for most of the season from what I've read, but not exactly setting the league on fire either.

Loanee involvement in early kick-offs today -
Stoke (home to Oxford) - Moran starts;
MK Dons (at home to Wimbledon) - McGill hasn't got his place back - still on the bench. :(

Runners and riders for 3 o'clock kick offs to come as teams are announced - will Enciso go straight into the team for Ipswich? (away at Liverpool - some baptism of fire if McKenna puts him on!)

Re Facundo. If he isn’t playing again I’d do whatever we need to do to bring him back. Might as well sit on our bench. Talk of all these clauses, fine, but there must be ways out of it.
A player who has gone out on loan, really knuckles down and excelled, and then seemingly dropped and having public arguments with the manager probably needs a bit of protection. There’s a difference between being treated unfairly and ‘all part of the learning process’ imho.

Whilst it would be better for him to be playing, he will learn a lot about himself and adversity in this period so it's not a complete wash.

He absolutely should do.

When we played Ipswich, only Delap and Hutchinson looked proper Premier League quality. They’ll have a third player now.

Plus, from their side it frees up a loan slot for RVN to get in a player he actually wants.

Today's loanee news -

Premier League -
Ipswich (away at Liverpool) - Enciso on the bench.
Championship -
Blackburn (away to Brizzle) - ACD on bench;
Massive (away to QPR) - Beadle's in goal;
Portsmouth (away at the other Albion) - O'Mahony still out.
League 1 -
Exeter (Doyle still injured) at home to Blackpool (Offiah starts);
Northampton (away at Wycombe) - Chouchane on the bench.
League 2 -
Grimsby (away to Barrow) - Barrington not in squad - coming back home, maybe?
National League -
Gateshead (home to Oldham) - Flower gets a start.
Scottish Championship -
Thistle (away to Ayr) - Nilsson not in the squad;
Queens Park (home to Greenock Morton) - Jackson makes the bench.

Not ours any more, but recently moved on, Imari mises his chance of a baptism of fire at Parkhead as Celtic vs. Dundee is postponed. Other Albion 'old boys' in action - George Cox playing at LB for Swindon, Connolly subbed on early at Millwall (won a penalty ........ and missed it!)

O Mahony not in the squad as far as I can tell? Nor Barrington

Good day for Ruud van Nistelrooy, not so good for Buonanotte. The manager who doesn't appear to want him brought him on for a meagre 15 minutes at the end.
