A ref from West Sussex can only mean #twats fan. We're doomed

I really don't know why we'd think this would be a walk over. Since Dec 4th beating Wolves 4-0, Everton went on to draw Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. Their wheels came off against teams who have their PL mojo in full swing and Moyes is having an impact organising them. He's shrewd and will know how to frustrate us.

Their achiles has been converting possesion into goals with a worse ratio than us. If our back line has another keystone cops day this risks being a banana skin. Fingers crossed we are as tight as a gnats chuff and fast, decisive and clinical with our posession. 7 points from the next 3 fixtures would be a decent return.

A lot of people on here being extremely cocky about this game.

I watched the Everton Spurs game last Sunday and they tore Spurs apart. Now, they are only Spurs, but they played directly and with pace, things which we famously never have any issues dealing with (You sure about this? - Ed), and Calvert-Lewin was a real menace. I’d be very surprised if they came here to park the bus.

Frustratingly, many of our poor results have been self inflicted and not being out performed. We are our biggest threat at times, but Hurz is on it and when he has the playets available to him it all feels a hell of a lot safer. The defender options is the area that gives me most nerves as when wr have a change in the back line communication and decisions go wobbly.

Agree, they looked reinvigorated and Moyes' tactics were a shot across the bow for us today. That ball came wide and in with pace and long with simple ditectness. Not a day for being caught high.

A bit nervous.
They were outrageous first half against Spurs but it’s a hard barometer to read.
DCL looked a different player and that’s a worry given his record against us.
We should still have enough.
Definite proof there’s no easy (or remotely easy) games at this level.

Suits us much more if they come at us.

We’ve only conceded one - from a penalty - in three games, the defence is starting to look a bit better (yes, I know, that’s jinxed it etc etc)

As per usual, if we score more than them, I think we’ll win. If, however, they score more than us, I think they might win.

If neither of us score, or we both score the equal amount of goals, then I think we’ll draw.

The possibilities are practically endless.

Tend to agree. I await Bozza's "Point gained or two dropped?" thread with interest.

We'll need to be clinical up front today, and solid and wide awake at the back. Not much rampaging forward please, Pervis.

Shame you chose that game instead of our great win at Old Trafford which was on at the same time!
If only they invented digital TV where you could watch something at a different time🤔
