You snowflakes can't have it both ways. If you have a problem with fans calling you out, why come on here whining about why you can't or won't go? It's the very definition of being a snowflake!

My dear old Mum who passed in the Autumn after 52 years going to games, would be ashamed of you all. All 5'2" of her took a big heavy wooden rattle to a foul-mouthed Chelsea fan at the cup tie in 73 at the Goldstone, and saw him off.

Perhaps you are the snowflake? Why can't you cope with freedom of choice and expression?

Thread title - Are you going to the Chelsea cup game?

Many people on this thread have simply just joined in and answered the question, some people being very honest. I’m unsure why you and some others have a problem with this ???

Oooh. Very nearly Bingo. Calling someone a snowflake? Check. Saying "It's the very definition of being a snowflake" when it isn't? Check. My old mum did violence to another fan? Check. Superfan? Check.

No Woke though. Anyone else get closer than one square left?

Indeed. Funny how when it was Marseille at home the transport system was magically OK. Even though that was on a Tuesday night, rather than a Saturday.
*Thursday night.

It’s nonsense to compare European games- the first in the club’s history and with months of knowing kick off times- with a cup game that a) gets moved to a time suited to nobody but TV fans and b) leaves a few weeks notice.

For those that don’t live within a few miles of the Amex week night games are a complete nightmare anyway, what’s annoying in the case of the Chelsea cup game is how completely unnecessary the ko time is! Should be Sat or Sunday lunchtime, afternoon or 17-30.

Really?

It's January, lots of people are skint and it's another twenty five quid on top of expensive season tickets, we play them later that week anyway, we have already been dicked by Chelsea, getting to and from the Amex is dogshit, no real loyalty point incentive, bullshit kick off time, it's on terrestrial straight after the rugby so you can watch in your living room without having to pay 7 quid for a flat pint in a flimsy plastic cup, potential for train carnage posy match if it goes to extra time and pens, shit weather.

I've just purchased my ticket. Mug.
Will Look out for your posts on the Matchday thread after full time 👀👍🏻

Is that all? I’ve been going for 63 years and was there in 67, when we forced a replay at Stamford Bridge.

It’s a free world, and people can make their own choices. I’m not ashamed of any of our fans.

What are you on about.

Have you seen what its like trying to get out of the Amex for an evening kick off, let alone one that could go to extra time and penalties. People can be arsed but practicalities mean they cannot get home.

The magic of the FA Cup has been lost because TV companies move games to stupid times, which then affects hundreds of people that would have been able to attend if it was 3pm.
Agree totally, 'magic of the FA Cup' never involved 30k + people trying to exit Falmer at 10pm or later with minimal trains or buses!!

St holder 71 years old too many matches changed to late kick offs no way with our medical issues plus public transport. Can't guarantee getting back home. Sorry guys got to miss this one. Don't want to end up back in hospital.
