How do you know it's a normal fluctuation and not due to Trump's announcement?
How do you split out the noise of normal fluctuations from the Trump effect? And vice-versa?
I'm not saying you're wrong, because I don't know myself.
No - I have no idea either. Which is why it cannot really be sold as a Trump effect, as I can't imagine anyone really knows!

Fair enough. We'll have to wait maybe a week or two, to smooth out daily fluctuations to see what the effect is, if any.

Even then it will be hard to tell really. It's been coming down for a week, with some even bigger drop-offs at times.

I'm now wondering if the news of the Trump announcement was already in the price? In other words, the news was already known to colleagues, family, MAGA supporters etc? Just me being an old cynic.
