I like most of the bands mentioned…..

The Beatles - greatest band of all time, changed the face of music - brilliant

George Michael - amazing voice, coolness personified in my eyes.

Aha - great, Morten Harkett excellent

McFly - have matured into a good band…..

Guilty pleasure not sure but great band…..

The Mammas and Papas

Cass could sing, as could Michelle Phillips, good song writing as well….

I like the odd Britney Spears track. There is a Rachel Stevens song and a Timberlake song that remind me of a certain time in my life which I enjoy.

I also have a secret ABBA and Erasure habit.

Not so much bands, more the odd song here and there. I found myself turning up the volume in my car the other day when I heard Frente! and Accidentally Kelly Street. Don't think I would have done this if wife and daughter had been with me... Horrible video on MTV at the time and faaaaar away from my usual The Mission, The Sisters of Mercy, Hüsker Dü, JAMC ... Rush Hour with Jane Wiedlin is another one. I blush...

Possibly the only post on this thread, along with Gary f***ing Glitter, that is actually relevant to the thread title! So many excellent bands being posted who should not be a guilty pleasure, unless you think that your musical tastes are cooler than a frozen cucumber :wink:

For me., if we're talking about 'uncool' bands that you enjoy, I'm going Coldplay - Back when I was travelling long distances maybe twice a month, they were the perfect band for it.....
