I would keep it for certain things like cheating and red card reviews. So dive to win a penalty and VAR should intervene, an incorrect or missed red card should result in VAR intervention. I would really try to limit its involvement in goals, as that’s where it takes the joy of the moment away.

Depends which version of Harry's voice one hears when you read it.

I had that problem when I read 'Oh goody another VAR thread'....

My first inclination was, like yours, dearie me he's needlessly sarcastic...

Then I reread it with a touch of sincerity in his dulcet tones, and I admit the gentle susseration was quite soothing.

Did someone mention offside? Just watched a PSG goal chalked off by the autobot because about 3mm of kneecap was poking out too far. I will now go back to crossing my arms.
