Just as vomit inducing is the Arsenal North Bank in the Palmeira on a match day. Just f*** off out of my town

Arsenal only ever seem to have two kinds of fan: the loudmouth school bully type, or the colossal malodorous nerd. Think of every goon you've ever met, they'll fit into one of those two types, its absolutely uncanny. No other fanbase like it
I remember when they were dogshit post Wenger, and this one Arsenal fan I worked with was the single most deluded football fan I’ve ever spoken to. He was raving about world class signings and how they were going to win the league next season, how Kim Källstrom was one of the best midfielders in the world, how their players would get in any team in world football. They finished about 7th I think.

Next season rolls around, and he says all the same stuff again.

I popped into the K&Q in early December (with the family after ice skating at the Pav) for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised. Nice sofa by the fire, not completely full of absolute melts - it was actually alright.

edit F1 is f***ing shite though, so I won't be revisiting for this endeavour

Arsenal away I normally wheedle my way into the pub by Finsbury Park Station (12 pins??) by foul means, and I can say 100% that everyone in that pub is a nerd.

They'll have to knock the fire on the head on race day what with all those nylon Mercedes jackets wandering about.

Many years ago in the early 80s I used to work a few doors down from the King and Queen in an office on Marlborough Place. It was a great pub then and we always went there on Friday lunchtimes. One thing I always remember was that somebody would always play Back Street Luv by Curved Air on the Juke Box. Some great memories of that place

Certainly have less working-class Cockney fans compared to Chelsea / Spurs / West Ham..
