So if the players in those pics fit or nearly fit enough to play, we’re missing;

Ferdi - out for the season (or most of it)
Igor - out for the season
Ferguson - back soon
Weiffer - back soon
Milner - No idea

Touch wood really looking good on injury front at the moment. Just a normal amount of injuries for the first time in what feels a year.

No sign of Verbruggen or Steele. Have one 94 both of them picked up an injury which is why Rushworth has been recalled?

Dunk, Veltman and Welbeck returning feels like it makes a HUGE difference to the squad. Solly a big bonus also.
At various times we’ve had out injured the majority of our leaders… Missing Dunk, Veltman, Welbeck, Webster, Solly, & Milner (plus others) in hindsight seems like a clear reason we’ve had some immature performances in terms of seeing games out when in winning positions.

Yeah agreed - the Experienced old heads ratio had been quite low during December.
Particularly in the Palace and Fulham games.

Whilst I love Dunky, I get the feeling that he isn't at the same level as Veltman/Welbeck/Milner for on-field coaching for the less experienced players.

Jason was in the keeper training videos yesterday. So it must be a very recent issue.

Those keeper training videos were originally posted lat week before the Ipswich and United games, but the fact he was fit enough for the bench means either it is something new or something he's been pushing through and we've decided surgery now is better than waiting.

Rushworth spoke to the local Hull newspaper on Saturday (the story appeared online yesterday but today they say he spoke on Saturday) and he obviously had no inkling that he was about to be recalled, so it does seem to have come out of the blue.

"Minor shoulder surgery" for Steele, apparently:-

Watch the goalies training and i reckon you can see the injury happen as he dives to the right.
