I don’t think that’s the case. The various anti-Tory threads ran into thousands of pages and were consistently at the top of the board for many years. The main one was started in 2021.

One of the most replied to threads in NSC history, and almost universally critical of them
I’m talking about social media and the press. I know this board is v much centre/left.

In the first 4 years he shouted a lot and did absolutely f*** all of note. What makes you think he's different this time? He's always been all mouth and no action.

Remember "We're gonna build a wall, and Mexico is gonna pay for it"? He just says things. It's meaningless waffle.
Lets see

***conspiracy theory alert***

Was Musk's action taken from the Jose playbook?

You say a whole load of shit Don and rip some executive orders that shit on minorities, working people and the planet and I'll do a nazi thing so they all talk about that.

Anyway here is Bernie Saunders talking sense and making suggestions to try and help working people.

It's a shame he is such a pinko commie so the electorate wouldn't see him as am alternative to the status quo. . . Or is it the status quo that persuade the electorate he is not an alternative.

He’s not an alternative because he’s a pinko commie…

Imagine having to say this to your newly elected president.

Wow, that was quite powerful and quite brave of her when she could have just kept her head down and acted as yet another "Christian" enabler of his Christian charade. I bet he didn't see that coming, a Christian who actually extols the true values of Christianity.

He must have been fuming. Has he reacted to this?

Predictably, he has already expressed his disapproval of the service, and no wonder... we can't have Christians extolling the virtues of tolerance, understanding, unity and respect when they should be promoting hatred, division and intolerance like all those good Christians who Trump likes to surround himself with..... God bless America

So a leader of the church he claims to be into asks him to show a little respect and christian mercy to those vulnerable minorities that are scared by his agressive and cold rhetoric about them.

His response "I didn't like that at all".

I am beginning to think that maybe he doesn't care about those people very much.

I guess we add them to the list of people who he might not turn out to be good for?

He set that trap up for himself all by himself and walked right into it when he first pretended to embrace Christianity and then walked through the doors to that service.

It was almost like a Christian metaphor for Daniel walking into the lion''s den but without the happy ending. In this version Don Daniel got devoured by the lion.

He thought he would be exploiting the occasion to say to the world "look at what a good Christian I am, so how can I be all the horrible things you all say I am".. but she really exposed his hypocrisy and insincerity and did so with such effectiveness, with no anger, vitriol or accusations, but just by making a gentle plea.

What a total schmuck she made him look.

He is doing well for metaphors in his two days on the job, this one day 2 and on day one having by keeping his loyal but poor supporters out in the cold and his rich sycophants inside in the warm.

We are living in a dystopian film right now.

Elon Musk has many faults and has made many mistakes. The accusation that on the world's biggest stage yesterday he did three Hitler salutes is absurd and cheapens the currency around real fascists and Nazis #ElonMusk

This is from George Galloway and I couldn't agree more

I am still a bit shocked that yesterday I was called a Nazi sympathizer

The only person Donald Trump is ever good for is himself. He may be good for other people, but only while they are useful to him.

Elon, himself said this: "The 'everyone is Hitler' attack is sooo tired."

Which is a pitiful response to what at best was a poorly considered action given the context and at worse a glimpse into the man's soul.

Either way, it serves a wonderful purpose that we continue to discuss it, instead of the changes his mate is making.

Probably the last thing he needs is George Galloway fighting his corner! :lolol:

Why do lefties always get their knickers in a twist when they lose an election? Trump won a democratic election and he's now got 4 years to implement his manifesto. IF he manages to make a success of things then the electorate will back him accordingly. I think he's got a much better chance of succeeding then the hopeless government we have in this country but only time will tell. In the meantime stop crying, relax and enjoy the ride 👍
I’m not crying! I’m firkin angry!
