has there ever been a situation or could it be so that the exchange does NOT open for whatever reason in which case a STH gets punished for something beyond their control?
You just need to list it, that’s it, doesn’t matter if the exchange opens or not, list it and it’s counted as effort (you’ve done all you can to get someone in the seat)

It’s all there on the website

All this "dog ate my homework" stuff...

How would your 20-year-old selfs feel about not getting a season ticket because someone wants it as a trophy and will only attend the odd game when all the stars are aligned perfectly?

"The club wants people to go the games rather than buy into my dozen bad excuses for not going to games! They're evil!"

:tears:
With the progress this club has made in the last 10 years there's probably a million or more people all over the world (such as me) who has "watching Brighton at the Amex" as one of the greatest dreams and plans in their life. Its really provoking reading all the "I want my season ticket but I don't want to use it" bollocks. Seems a good move from the club to get rid of ST holders who always finds some excuse not to go or not make their ticket available to someone else.

Maybe this is me misunderstanding some cultural aspect or whatever but it sounds like people want this to be some American sport where some fat millionaire buys a chair for a 100 years just to pop in twice a year when he feels like it.

The adjustments encourage further use of the Exchange, freeing up match-day tickets.

The only losers are the unlucky folk who have a dozen family emergencies, always just before an Albion game. Every season.

The 2pm day before is an issue and needs to be looked at however I suspect its in response to people who list on the exchange an hour before kick off with the hope it counts as an attempt to list but preference is not to have an unknown in their space / group.

I’ve read about it on here or FB where people have said they have an agreement with their seat neighbours that non of the group / row will relist to prevent an away fan (anyone who’s not in their social circle / standing more likely) attending and they can afford to do this.

This doesn’t work for emergencies though. Surely listing say 3 hours before KO at a min would be the compromise.

Where is the ‘Cancellation of Auto-Renewal section above', which the club mention ?

There seems to only be a "cancellation of renewal option below".

I wouldn't want to cancel without passing it on to a friends and family member.

Doesn’t encouraging listing on the Exchange at least the day before, open up more potential takers eg they need certainty and might be travelling from afar?

Those FB people will also be ‘cleverly’ stopping Albion fans attending. Before the tightening of procedures and no cards/paper tickets, I often sold my WSU ticket for nominal sums to strangers …. they were all Albion nuts.

Have you tried reaching out to the club supporter services to discuss your wife’s specific circumstances?

Point taken, earlier the better for the chance of a sale obviously but think there needs to be a bit of flex in the morning of a match day particularly with kids but saying that 5 times or more probably warrants a discussions with the club for next season eligibility (rather than auto losing it)

I once listed a ticket getting on the coach as eldest didn’t fancy it last minute. To my surprise it had sold within the 30 min drive to the Amex and the seat was already occupied when I got there. To make matters worse he had a Chicken Balti pie (probably the last one as was sold out when I got there, busy ****)

Indeed.

But probably best to not have a season ticket if the decision to go is typically made on the day.

(I think all the whatabouts and whatifs have now been satisfactorily addressed.)

Seriously considering this option but I've not had any experience of buying on a match by match basis at the Amex, (STH since opened).

Are match tickets always available on the day of the match?

On the day of the match? I really have no idea. It depends if they sell any on match day. Back at Withdean, no tickets were sold on match day.

If you are an albion+ member and keep your eye on availability I would imagine you are 99% certain to get a ticket if tickets are sold, though.

Can’t make Everton as had a CRT pacemaker fitted yesterday and recovering / can’t drive for a week but listed our tickets on the exchange and sold in an hour, lovely stuff
Best wishes for the pacing

I would say generally, yes. If you are a Member, I suspect you would normally be able to find at least one ticket available on the Exchange ( even if the non Exchange tickets have already been sold) for the most popular games and quite a lot for other teams. You are not able get any discounts though when you buy an exchange ticket. You could have a look on the days of the upcoming home matches just to see what is available.

I understand that but if tickets aren't available on the day of the match then giving up my ST and buying on a game by game basis isn't an option.

Thanks 👍🏻

3 hour procedure and awake for it the entire time, not the best!

I have an issue with my LV not functioning correctly, latest Ejaction Fraction was 28% so hoping for an improvement and im medicated correctly now as well

Pulses, I’m getting used to, feel them big time at the min, like a hiccup almongst, although assuming they will become less noticeable when the swelling / bruising goes down
