Cheer up.
Trumps going to be good for everyone.
Just wait and see.

P.s name calling and wishing someone's demise is not a very grown up response. Very childish in fact, and something Trump himself has been accused of.
Im sure your better then that.

Have a good day.
On what do you base your opinion that Trump will be 'good for everyone'?

Proud Boys Leader, far right activist Henry “Enrique” Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for violent insurrection. He and all his acolytes have been pardoned, released and are out on the streets again on the command of the man who claims to be on the side of Law and Order.

I suspect widows of the police officers who died at the Capitol and those who have died or committed suicide since would take issue that Trump has been or will be 'good for everyone'. I certainly do.

Have another go....

And trans people. My son's trans and gay friends in the US are already very concerned about the way things are going.
I don't *think* they'll have anything to worry about tbh, the executive orders for clarifying that sex means actual sex, and getting rid of DEI in Federal Government are fairly contained as far as I can tell, and don't appear to give anyone less rights than anyone else in the States.

Wouldn't want to be part of a training company that had provided DEI training though. This is classic putting people on "a list", Very worrying indeed.

"(ii) provide the Director of the OMB with a list of all:

(A) agency or department DEI, DEIA, or “environmental justice” positions, committees, programs, services, activities, budgets, and expenditures in existence on November 4, 2024, and an assessment of whether these positions, committees, programs, services, activities, budgets, and expenditures have been misleadingly relabeled in an attempt to preserve their pre-November 4, 2024 function;

(B) Federal contractors who have provided DEI training or DEI training materials to agency or department employees; and"

amusingly the text issued by the Whitehouse has defined sex at the moment of conception, unaware that sex is not determined until several weeks into gestation. in a pen stroke, men have been eliminated and everyone in US is now a woman.

Even snake oil salesmen are allowed to fear for their jobs.

DEI was always a weird concept though, particularly in the States with their penchant for "positive discrimination", which strikes me as being just a touch racist.

Yes, and the preamble in both those documents (all hyperbole and accusations) is clearly written for a specific audience, give me a nice dry Whitehall paper any day.

DEI is a commercial concept. It's not just prevalent in government, there are entire departments in many companies. The thinking behind it is quite hard to dispute, if done properly (and I'll come back to that).

- you can sell product to more people because you take their buying habits and culture into account when designing and marketing.
- you don't just have teams who all think the same. Some left field thinking could be out there, whether from someone autistic or with dyslexia, someone who didn't go to University, someone with a family background in a country you want to sell to etc etc
- it should be fairer

But, of course, it was designed and managed by human beings so in the worst cases simply ended up as "positive" discrimination, anti-white hiring policy or a box ticking exercise.

Nonetheless, putting the people who carried out training that was mandatory according to an executive order of the last President on a list is McCarthyism and should be deplored by any right thinking person.

Making a list does sound bad when you put it like that.

I would point out the the order only relates to Federal Government though, and not commercial entities. They are free to go about their business.

I've never heard DEI being talked about as a marketing tool before, only ever in the HR context (junk mail in my work inbox). So that is a new one on me.

The convicted sex offender, proven/convicted criminal (by a jury of his peers), twice-indicted, mysoginistic, call-up avoiding bone spur sufferer, proven/documented liar, is gonna be "good for everyone".

Wow!

The Nazis didn't just try to rid society of the Jewish people (6 million) but gays, gypsies, deformed children, children with epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Downs Syndrome, etc etc. 10 million were put to death for simply existing.

Musk grew up with apartheid in South Africa, where it wasn't just black or white, but coloured, where Chinese were considered coloured but Japanese were classed as white.
Just for accuracy, the Chinese were classed as white because the National Party forgot about them and didn't include them in the racial categorisation.

Not sure why that is posted. The only two South Africans I know were anti-segregation. Wrong to make such assumptions.
He's a white, Afrikaans, South African from Pretoria who left SA to avoid National Service. There's a huge difference between the Afrikaaners who by and large belong to the Dutch Free Church, which preaches that whites are the master race, and South Africans of British descent.
