Serie A's top playmaker so far with eight assists this season, one every other league game. Admittedly he notched all eight in as many matches between August and October but has yet to contribute since - not helped by a hamstring injury that caused him to miss four games in all comps between November and December.

No thanks. But thats just because I'm racist towards everything Portuguese in football. I hate Portuguese football and most Portuguese footballers with some passion.

That said I'm somewhat open to change my views on that one.

Portuguese league: often lowest goal averages in European football. Least amount of effective minutes played out of any European league with a fat margin because everyone is diving or breaking eachothers legs.

Cristiano Ronaldo. Bruno Fernandes. Fernando Couto. Pepe. Jose Mourinho. Costinha. Maniche. Sa Pinto and the whole 2000 team chasing the ref after the France game. Plenty of narcissists or people who will literally stamp players in the head if they get a chance to.

Having massive amounts of football talent and still playing gravedigger shithousery 0-0 football winning on penalties against braver, funnier teams like England and Netherlands.

I hate Portugal as a football nation. Passionately. Thats all.

Well you've convinced me. It's also alarming how festooned We are with them in the Premier league. Despite the sheer numbers I'm not sure how big the actual hit rate is.

There's the injured guy at Liverpool, the one at Chelsea, Freddie Mercury at Man united.

All the others go to Wolverhampton to die.
