Indeed.

Added a few quid over the years, handed it over to an investment co.

A nice tidy sum now :O

Both of my daughters got these when they were born.

I have been adding to both funds each month ever since they were born.

I must admit the the original sum gave me the incentive to start saving for my children's future.

Thought this was worth a bounce seeing as how there was a big bit about it on the BBC website yesterday and nobody seems to have picked up on it

Here's some links on how to track down a Child Trust Fund you might have lost track of, or never knew your kid(s) had in the first place

'Use the free Find a Child Trust Fund toolOpens in a new window at GOV.UK if you’re not sure you have an account or lost the details. HMRC should reply by post within three weeks.
Or you can use The Share Foundation’s free toolOpens in a new window to find your lost Child Trust Fund account.
Don’t pay to find your fund! These tools are free and you only need your National Insurance number and date of birth. There is no need to pay someone to find it for you.'
