Thinking of getting a new tattoo, and really like Japanese art style (specifically kanji).

I have a good idea of what I want, but before I go ahead and get something permanently inked onto my body that means something completely different to what I think (and google translate tells me) it says, I would appreciate the help of any Japanese speakers or natives to confirm it for me.

My idea is this : 自分の限界を超えて , which should translate to Push past your limits.

Help is greatly appreciated :mitoma:
My daughter in law is Japanese, and she has confirmed that your translation is correct.

And remember that the Japanese are very polite, and if it says 'Push down my knickers' they may be too polite to tell you.
I'm hoping he finds out in ten years it says "Remove outer packaging and pierce film before placing in microwave"
