Yep, attacker through on goal, defence nowhere, should have just stayed on his line and hope the forward shoots straight at him (or over the bar). Works every time......................
Player in question is a Spurs loanee so doubly likely he’d have missed :lolol:

Scherpen and Yalcouye in Champions League action this evening - both start for Sturm Graz at Atalanta.

Anything but a win and they're out, so it's a big one tonight - even then quite a thin chance.

EFL action tonight for our loanees -
Blackburn Rovers (home to Coventry) - ACD bench;
Hull City (home to QPR) - Rushworth starts;
Exeter (away to Peterborough) - Doyle not in squad;
MK Dons (away to Fleetwood Town) - McGill bench.

Wonder what the story is with McGill? He's been pretty much ever present up until now.
Edit: Not unexpected, apparently - was excellent to start with, but has been making errors lately which have cost goals.

Poor Graz, thrashed 5-0 :ohmy: Yalcouye subbed off at 69'
Ouch. Didn't watch this one. Only 3-0 when Yalcouye was subbed though...

Not unexpected. Atalanta LOVES to completely stomp weaker teams.

That just leaves Scherpen to account for :down:
Yup... possible he still had a decent game, don't know.

But thats a bit less interesting since Kjell Scherpen is never going to play for us again.

Started every game since right ?
I've never heard both games described as 'all games' before. Somewhat egging the pudding, I presume trying to make a point. The post to which you are replying was over a fortnight ago anyway, so I'm not sure of your point. Have a good evening.
:shrug:

Sima on the bench for Brest's CL tie against Shakhtar. Could also see Moran, Beadle, Osman, Sarmiento, and O'Mahony (unlikely) in action tonight.

Sima subbed on for Brest on the hour - 2-0 down.

In other news (as detailed on the Rushworth thread) Carl Rushworth's season has been radically changed all of a sudden! Recalled from his loan at Hull - OP updated.

Plenty of people (myself included) thought the same about Ayari. Who really knows
No one I suppose... but think its very unlikely. He's done ok in the Austrian league. Turning 25 tomorrow. Don't think its gonna happen for him.

Champions League tonight - Brest away to Shakhtar Donetsk - Sima on the bench, now subbed on , and Feyenoord (Osman on the bench) are at home to Brian Munich.

More involvement in The Championship -
Portsmouth (with O'Mahony - still out injured) entertain Stoke, with Moran starting;
Sheffield Wednesday (with Beadle in goal) entertain Brizzle City. while Burnley (with Sarmiento on the bench) make the long trip down to Plymouth.
