Manager always goes on about how important forwards play is off the ball. In this respect Mitoma and Minteh were outstanding today. If anybody has access to stats I would think Mitoma ran further than anybody

Went with Minteh but could have gone with Mitoma just as well... literally 50/50 but felt like voting for the rookie. Everyone was good though.

Not an easy one. I’ll go with Mitoma (close call for Minteh and Ayari). Have been dissapointed with him for a while but I think he’s on track again. Good to see!

Why come to a positive thread with a negative?
Ok. Here is a positive. It can’t be Verbruggen because he only had one shot on target to deal with. He was largely a spectator.

Edit: It also can’t be Ayari because of his role in their goal/penalty. He demands the ball from Verbruggen, points to the spot where he wants it but then gets squashed and dispossessed by a Utd player leaving Baleba a very difficult decision to make which he gets wrong but manages not to get sent off.

Minteh. His best game for us. But a terrific team performance all round.
