Well, that's f***ed it - I might as well put my ticket on the exchange now.
No need for drastic measures like that. Its not like someone has made a poll about how many points we'll take from the game...

There are loads of awful memories, Crewe, Walsall, Orient, Darlington, Bristol Rovers, Waltham & hersham and I'm sure many many more that I have wiped from my memory, but not with THIS Albion.

But it was the Amex and it was Dyche. I was prepared for a hugely frustrating afternoon but I wasn't prepared for THAT

Oh well, next up

Fear not, I have exceptional bad luck of missing home wins when I don’t go (last two seen were Man City and Roma!) and I won’t be able to make it next Saturday.

Everyone seems to be forgetting / ignoring top 5 will almost certainly be champions league and Europe could well be down to 8th.

The incentive for us is that if we beat Everton we will go 9th in the PL cumulative table from season 17/18 (when the PL really started) to date. They are on 354 and we are on 353 (albeit having played a game more). Also we need to be aware that the team from Croydon are on 349 points, 4 points behind us, and we need to start increasing that gap again.

As an aside, we moved up to 29th (out of 51) in the all time PL table today, overtaking Burnley, and for those of us that remember proper football, we are still 47th in the all time first division/PL table, although if we keep in the PL for the next few seasons, we are likely to overtake the mighty Bradford, Grimsby and Oldham.

To be fair, I had the Everton Spurs game on today on mute with radio from Old Trafford (a highly confusing experience), and Everton looked very decent

Obviously only against Spurs who were terrible, but nevertheless a different prospect to the one a couple of weeks ago, Calvert-Lewin was a real handful
I did that. It was hard work!

That's quite amazing given that we only finished above them twice. I guess our lead over them in the qualifying for Europe season wiped out all the smaller leads they had accumulated in the other seasons.

Another incentive is the three points added to the current table...

I think we will do Everton. Unfortunately, apart from saints , the next 8 league games after that are grim. Think we will finish somewhere between 8th-12th.

Tottenham have already got 10 players out, and they’ve lost Solanke and Johnson today to ‘significant injuries’.
