To be fair, I had the Everton Spurs game on today on mute with radio from Old Trafford (a highly confusing experience), and Everton looked very decent

Obviously only against Spurs who were terrible, but nevertheless a different prospect to the one a couple of weeks ago, Calvert-Lewin was a real handful

Win that, and we ARE in the mix for Europe again, especially with Forest v Bournemouth and Man City v Chelsea being played same weekend...
Don't count your chickens just yet, they just had a good win and we tend to cock it up against the bottom sides, lets not forget they thrashed us at the Amex not so long ago.

Can we get some of Croydon's finest down here to set fire to the place and suggest, despite it being an advantage to Everton, that we play the game at their place?

Bottom 6 away is far more preferable to playing them at home.

You could argue the Utd we on a high after Thursday though, new manager bounce for them against the worst team in London isn't really anything to worry about - but then again we are Brighton

We aren't ready for it this season, IMO.

Can't see us making a real go of it this season.
If we don't sell any first teamers in the summer, I think we can make a good fist of it, then.

Well that messed that up then :dunky:

But looking at the table all of a sudden 4 points from 4th
Not sure we've ever seen a top ten this tight post Xmas. Last year there was 12 points between 10th and 4th, this year just 5.

Not expecting us to make the top six, expect the sides currently occupying those positions to stay there, but think if we can continue to keep pace with those around us, and United and Spurs continue to falter 7th (or potentially 8th) is well within our sights.

1 game at a time. We were in hunt for Europe before Ipswich and United with just under half the season still to go. But 2 wins on trot has given us some confidence and hopefully we'll continue that into the Everton game next week. They'll be another tough nut to crack so we need to keep learning and building and who knows.
