TEAM NEWS

Manchester United wing-back Diogo Dalot returns after missing Thursday's win against Southampton through suspension, while centre-back Harry Maguire is likely to regain his place in the starting line-up.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte were withdrawn at half-time in midweek because of tiredness, so head coach Ruben Amorim may opt to freshen up his midfield.

Mason Mount and Luke Shaw remain sidelined, although the latter may return to full training in a week or two, according to Amorim.

Brighton are again without Ferdi Kadıoğlu and James Milner, while Georginio Rutter will hope for a recall after scoring as a substitute during Thursday's win at Ipswich.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

  • Brighton are vying to earn a third consecutive Premier League away win at Manchester United. The only club to have achieved that feat are Manchester City, on two separate occasions.
  • The Seagulls have won five of their past six Premier League matches versus the Red Devils, and seven of 15 overall. Their win rate of 47% is the highest by any side against United in the competition's history.
  • None of the previous Premier League meetings have ended in a draw.
  • Each of United's last 11 league goals in this fixture have been scored in the second half.
Man Utd
  • United are aiming for back-to-back league wins for the first time since their final two games of last season, with the second of those against Brighton.
  • Ruben Amorim's side have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their past 11 matches in all competitions.
  • United have conceded 10 Premier League goals from corners this season, a joint high with Wolves.
  • The Red Devils have trailed at half-time in six top-flight fixtures this term, second only to Leicester.
  • Amad Diallo has scored six goals in his previous eight appearances in all competitions and has been directly involved in 16 goals for United this season – second only to Bruno Fernandes' 18.
Albion
  • Albion ended a winless run of eight league games by beating Ipswich on Thursday (D6, L2).
  • They are vying for back-to-back top-flight away victories for the first time since winning their opening two fixtures on the road last season. The second of those wins came against Manchester United.
  • The Seagulls have lost four Premier League matches in 2024-25 – only Liverpool and Arsenal have had fewer defeats.
  • There has been at least four goals scored in all four of Brighton's Premier League games on a Sunday this season.

If I pay for sky sport and tnt, can’t get an away ticket, is it still taking money from the club if I watch on a firestick?

How can a match not at 3pm a not be available in the UK at all? It’s bullshit.
I’ve heard a certain fawa news .com (no spaces inbetween) website is always reliable for live match updates 😜

That's a cool stat right there
So is the looking to be only the second team in history to win 3 consecutive away league games at old Trafford.

I'm quite the pessimist this season about the Albion so I'm assuming thatboth those stats will be gone by teatime.
