Clean sheet.
3 points.
An away win.
Georginio is class.
No injuries that I saw.
Looked like O'Reily was injured for much of the game and went straight down tunnel after being subbed off. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Much better second half. Verbruggen, Veltman, Ayari, Rutter all excellent.

But above all else grinding out a win professionally, calmly and confidently.

Clean sheet to boot.

Massive 3 points
A game we could of so easily lost
No injuries
I bet us to win
Correct score on the prediction

A great result but the style of play is so boring. Kieran McKenna would show his Ipswich team, videos of how Brighton played a couple of seasons ago trying to get his team to take it in and follow suit. If I was a budding lower division coach this season I don't think I'd be trying to play the Hurzeler style. Potter's team was a good passing team. RDZ played Potters style on steroids. We just lump high balls 50% of the time now. It's sad it's come to this.

I disagree. I think the long balls served a purpose. Firstly you might get a lucky bounce and our quicks can take advantage of that.
Secondly and more importantly, in the second half their back line dropped back an extra 5-10 worried about the ball over the top, and that gave the space for Pedro to drop into the hole and turn quickly setting up our attacks.
This was the type of game we have struggled to win over the past 4-5 seasons under 3 managers. And the result was definitely more important than the performance last night.

FH faced a low block for most of the game a knew it was coming.

His priority in the first half was clearly not to concede a goal. Whilst Ipswich had some good shots, they were all outside the area and all savable.

FH then made the right changes at the right time to completey change our attacking emphasis. It crushed Ipswich. Just when Ipswich had to push up the pitch to equalise, they suddenly had Rutter and Minteh to deal with. They couldn’t. The effort to equalise was eliminated.

The sparkle had returned. Everything was being done so much quicker. Webster impersonating VVD. Ayari & Baleba bossing the show. Great substitutions.

BUT these are NOT a good team! Didn't see any Ipswich player that would be in our matchday squad. So fingers crossed we can keep up this level of performance against the much better sides to come.

Positives;

We Won.
Back in top ten.
A number of players getting back to fitness
Brilliant second half performance.
Veltman bossed the tempo a masterclass of how to defend defuse and control.
Bart made three world class first half saves without which we would not be celebrating a win.
