Yes, this. Does us a favour overall.

The outlier is West Ham, but having seen the stats I’m assuming Silva and Potter went in the wrong dugouts.

When the Ferguson to West Ham loan rumour first appeared and I said it would be a terrible move for us, posters smirked like they are going to catch us up. Oh.
Nah, they’re good whatever. League position tomorrow isn’t that important. Arguably the draws are even better if we don’t win.
If we aren’t capitalising on the draws then no it doesn’t matter.

Said exactly the same on here this morning.

We’d be nuts to help West Ham.

I do think we will just get top 10 and a good cup run now, I'm over the stressing about Europe. Our injuries are happening at the worst times to our best players, all a bit meh to be honest. I'm in the licker camp that this is a season of build. One thing I will add though, is that this season is a huge missed opportunity if we don't get Europe because of our squad and the teams not in the top 6 who usually are in what has been a very unpredictable league.

I can’t believe anyone on here is pro-Forest. Their owner is a bully, they blatantly broke PSR rules, then cried about it, they play football which is a throw back to the 90s but worse. They are where they are because unlike most teams in this league this season they’ve hardly had any injuries and have been able to put out a consistent core of a team in most games. The percentage football they play would have made Harry Bassett proud and reminded me of us at home in the EPL under CH.

I can’t believe the number of people saying what a great game that was tonight. Forest were at home, they are 3rd in the league, yet they set up and looked like a L2 team playing an EPL team in the cup. On another day Liverpool would have scored 4 or 5.

Forest play 'simple', 'basic' football and have an old, but reliable striker who takes his chances. Possession means nothing if you can't turn it into goals. We have been at our best when we have moved the ball quickly.

Luck & referees do play too large a part but it goes back to simple things like it easier to score a goal when there are 3 defenders back rather than 10.....

Funny that - I don't remember us being in second place in the PL in those days.

Exactly what I said would be decent at the start of the season given all the changes to the squad and management. Add in the injuries and it’ll be a decent return.

The odds of the cup run have probably lengthened with our tough draw. Get through that though (and I’ve a gut feeling we will) and who knows?

But they didn't. Forest earned that point last night through hard work and discipline. It's not pretty to watch, and I completely agree with your critique of the owner, but that does not diminish what those players achieved last night, and over the previous 20 games.

Or Salah and and Diaz chose this match to turn into prime Maupay, depending on your point of view. Once again a ref let their 'tactics' go, as happened at the Amex (remember it was the 4th official who advised it was a sending off, the prat of a ref was just giving a yellow for that assault). They are a team that cost £100s of millions to assemble and they play like a pub team. Yates is a thug, as is their giant CB. MGW is just a ****. Anderson is decent. "What those players achieved" sounds like a statement made of a L2 team in the cup, like Tamworth, not the team 3rd in the league who are playing at home, although what with defending their 6 yard box and long throws etc it was hard to tell them apart. f*** Forest, f*** cheats.

I'm concerned that our players will be allowed to be kicked off the park in a couple of weeks, we could do with Wieffer back for this one.

It's not just sideshow Bob. Of the centre halves, Colwill hasn't been nearly as good as they hoped, Badiashile and Fofana are injured, Chalobah cast out into the wilderness, Adarabioyo isn't top class and Disasi is shit. Of the full backs, Cucurella thinks he's a midfielder, Chilwell has been garbage for a couple of years now but is on such massive wages they can't sell him, and Reece James is made of gossamer and unicorn tears. Malo Gusto is alright.

If it wasn't for Caicedo (who has mostly been excellent this season even if he should have been sent off a couple of times) protecting their defence, they'd be screwed.
SJ has just referred to Cucurella as going around looking like sideshow bob
