Imagine if Forest won the title...The scousers would be f***ing gutted. It would be more Spursy than Spurs for them to be beaten to the title by Forest, in a year where the other big hitters have struggled for consistency.

Forest are defying the odds this season. I don't just mean the pre-season odds: I mean the in-game stats. It's crazy.

They average 34% possession and aren't even that effective at taking chances. And they have Neco Williams in defence. All logic dictates that at some point they will revert to the mean that their stats suggest they should be at, and yet here we are. Shows what you can do if you have a rock solid centre half pairing, a great habit of blocking opposition shots, and a striker in the best run of form of his life.

Not the most thrilling side to watch, but they've been outstanding at doing what they do. They're already boring Liverpool into playing poor passes because they can't find a way through.

Liverpool have been absolutely shit. Bit of organisation and they can't create.

And just missed a simple chance to slip in Gakpo for a one on one.

It’s an astonishing story and I’d love them to finish above Chelsea, Arsenal and beat Liverpool to the title but they are only a few injuries away from mid table obscurity.

They have about 6 players who are irreplaceable to them. If Wood is injured or that centre back pairing gets split up, they are screwed. In short, if they’d had the same level of injuries as we have, they’d be in a similar position in the table.

That said, Leicester kept their key players fit for their league title so it’s possible.

What makes Forest's run all the more astonishing is that they have Ryan Yates in midfield, who is to Premier League football what Katie Price is to Ancient Greek philosophy.

I don't think Palmer FC's defence is good enough.
Yep. That first half from Chelsea was top quality, like possibly the best performance from any team this season. Yet despite that, Sanchez did one of his dopey brain farts and nearly conceded a leveller by giving the ball away. And that's why they won't win the league.
