You won’t be saying that when Meghan Markle’s cooking-slash-lifestyle series drops in a few weeks.

La Palma - I've never met a Norwegian in 52 years so I refuse to believe there are that many in the Canary Islands! Enjoyed it, the actual disaster scene was very good I thought but 4 good episodes completely undone with the last scene.
I am on episode 2 and I'm not sure I can watch much more
the whole aircraft section, a smallish plane with enough fuel to get to Madrid crashing among trees yet there are many survivors who are within minutes rescued and taken to a hospital which looks like a villa with a small entrance that the two main characters decide to block with their car

Again staying off Netflix to Sky Atlantic, this is wonderful, now concluded but 4 whole series to enjoy. One of my favourite ever series enhanced by a Max Richter soundtrack that is pure Italy.

Agree completely.

Away from Netflix I'm just getting up to speed with The Rig an Prime, just finished season 1 ready to watch the newish season 2. It's an incredibly joyless piece of TV yet strangely addictive, still not sure if it's any good or whether I absolutely hate it.

American Primevil wasn't terrible.... decent effort, good production..... short 6 ep series... I guess maybe a pilot series.

Birdsong.

From 2012 but just arrived on Netflix.

Well. It had me in floods. I was in bits. Not cried at something on telly for years but this got me.

I thought it was brilliant.

Not on Netflix but on iPlayer. 7/7 London bombings. Four part documentary with the manhunt and the failed bombings a few weeks later. Very sad with interviews with the Mum who lost her daughter and those who had to clear up body parts down in the tube. Incredible film of one of the failed bombers trying to set off their bomb.

Mrs Cottager and I are greatly enjoying Ripley, starring Andrew Scott. It's a great tale, stylishly shot in black and white.
It does have a few plot loopholes but Andrew Scott is magnificent in the role.
