We moved into our current place about three years ago and in our garden we have several trees.

Assuming it is like the rest of the property, they probably haven’t been looked after for many years so looking for recommendations for someone to come and assess the state of them and carry out any urgent work needed to maintain them.

If you get someone in to do it, you're missing one of the great opportunities in life, Owning a CHAINSAW !

In the 21st century there are very few opportunities for full on testosterone filled fun. I bought one for my trees about 10 years ago and it is the greatest Boy's Toy ever. Chucking a few bits of dead animal on some charcoal pales into insignificance when compared to the sound, power and danger of a chainsaw.

Make sure you get the right gear though. I went out and bought hush puppies, skinny jeans and a lumberjack shirt. You won't regret it

I wouldn’t trust myself with a chainsaw. It’s that simple. Chopped the top off my thumb with a pair of secateurs so god knows what I’d do with a chainsaw.

I normally recommend these when my clients need tree work doing that’s beyond my abilities

lol that was a bit silly…chainsaw definitely need to be used with a lot of respect …the one I use is relatively small but still packs a punch….WZ probably has a whopper
