Absolutely. It’s simply more fun isn’t it. VAR has been scrubbing off great moments for too long. Never forgiven that absolutely belter by Ali Mac being killed by the school master behind his laptop.

Well that's the most obtuse comment of the day.

VAR has been great this season, compared to previous seasons. It is MORE Fun that the correct decisions are made. When bad refereeing decisions affect results, it takes the fun out of the game, as it is unjust.

I think the point you are making - is that it is FUN in a world without VAR when poor refereeing decisions work in our favour.... but it works both ways, surely. If poor refereeing decisions cost us, then that would not be fun.

Besides - March was clearly onside wasn't he??

No, March was clearly offside. Just seems like the lino missed it as he was focusing on Welbeck.

Edit: there’s a good freeze frame in another thread
Just seen this so thought I’d freeze it myself. Probably just off but can’t tell for sure from that angle. Nothing clearly offside about that at all in my opinion.

VAR hasn’t reduced the number of wrong decisions by enough for the down side of it getting involved agree it’s been better this season though as they’ve raised the bar for when it gets involved.
What's the percentage of wrong decisions are you happy with for VAR to overcome the down side of it being involved?

No difference to result and pleased March scored but surely Welbeck who was miles off was interfering with play. Defence had made him off and pass was meant for him and he just let it go
