How well known? Whoever told you didn’t mention it to me, I’m afraid! Good player but I can’t see him coming to Brighton — unless of course Milner is involved somehow?

Don't think it is relevant what position he plays. Chance to buy a young talented player and potentially make him a better player and sell in the future for more money. That's the model isn't it?

That's exactly the model. Bloom won't pass up the opportunity at trying to bring a player in if he sees it as a good value proposition.
It absolutely doesn't mean we're not also looking at defenders nor strikers. In fact we know they are from the links with the likes of Vitor Reis, Alberto Costa and Stefanos Tzimas.
The club's recruitment team are able to keep many plates spinning at any one time - they're not all crowded around one that says "attacking midfielder".
Ah I see we’re still kidding ourselves we had even a remote chance of signing Cole Palmer then?

Agreed but why waste money on players we don´t need?Signing him would have no impact on our ability to sign players for other positions
As others have said…….we invest in players that a) play for us and or b) look like a good investment
