Is he linked to us in some way?Amazing once in a lifetime opportunity and experience that could be for him!

As far as I know there isn't one, but I guess it's because it's something happening (if it does) in the January transfer window. But don't ask me - I didn't post the link.Is he linked to us in some way?

Any more on our USG interest?Another striker slips through our fingers.
Recruitment team OUT!
But what happens when we loan Ferguson, because Welbeck is back fit, but then he gets injured again on Feb 1st? Personally I think we'd be stupid to loan him out. Pedro's best position is not number 9, so that role should be rotated between Welbeck and Ferguson (sub and starter). There's not a side in the Prem that thinks having one number 9 in their squad is okay. You've got to have cover for suspensions, injuries, fatigue, or simply subbing within a game. We've not scored many goals recently, so clearly because we're short of strikers. Madness to be thinking about then loaning one as soon as they're back fit!Sounds like Ferguson will be off on loan if Welbeck returns....
"Ferguson has been touted for a loan move away from Brighton this month and it is believed the club would ideally like him to stay in the Premier League.
"It is understood West Ham have already made an enquiry about Ferguson but that Brighton want to be sure of Danny Welbeck’s fitness before making a decision on his future."

& if we sign a striker from another league we spend the rest of the season getting them upto speed instead of Ferguson. Not many strikers come straight in and start banging in goals.I think we replace Ferguson with the lad from USG.
I believe that Ferguson really does need a lot of minutes to get back on his game. I just don’t think he’ll get enough here, manly because we can’t afford to put up with his poor performances whilst he finds form again. We need a No.9 banging in the goals, not trying to find their touch again.
But they way things work out for us, if we don’t loan Ferguson out, Welbeck will be fit for the rest of the season meaning Evan will get few opportunities; if we do loan him out, Welbz is going to get a big injury and might not play before the summer.
It’s no so much the banging in goals for me, it’s enabling the other 3 attacking players and helping them score. Welbeck is brilliant at that, he really is. Just look at his affect on Georginio. I don’t think Ferguson is able to occupy defenders, create space for teammates and link up (with quick 1-2s) anything like Welbeck at the moment, but he seemed to be able to manage this when he was on form before his fitness issues last season.& if we sign a striker from another league we spend the rest of the season getting them upto speed instead of Ferguson. True. I just dont want a loan for Ferguson to be the gateway to us selling him, & then another team does get him upto speed and back to his best. Welbeck will only last another season or two and this level (maybe) so we'd be silly to make Ferguson feel unwated, when really he should be the succession plan. It’s no so much the banging in goals for me, it’s enabling the other 3 attacking players and helping them score. Again, that might take time for a player to adjust too but Pedro should be a No.10 for us with someone else performing the No.9 role. When that happens, I think we’ll start scoring a lot more goals.
Ooh, I'd love a DOUGLAS.Douglas Luiz being made available by Juve for loan with obligation to buy. He wants prem return and two clubs have already registered interest.
That won’t be us - a number of much bigger clubs will be after him.Douglas Luiz being made available by Juve for loan with obligation to buy. He wants prem return and two clubs have already registered interest.
Ulloa did ok& if we sign a striker from another league we spend the rest of the season getting them upto speed instead of Ferguson. Not many strikers come straight in and start banging in goals.
