I've been one of his sternest critics over the years and obviously it wasn't a full match, but well played Adam yesterday. Put in an excellent shift. Maybe these new medical guys are really getting injured players right back up to speed before letting them near the squad.

He was excellent when he came on - won all aerial battles and great to have another defensive option again

Surely we’ll not loan him out whether we sign another CB or not? With Dunk and Igor injured, we need him to stay. Even if they are both fit, Webby is a useful experienced defender to have in the squad as is Lamptey at least until the summer.

He was great because all he really had to do was defend, he’s mostly fine at that, it’s when he has to start passing moves that it can quickly unravel or feels that he has to keep possession (a fault of sometimes Dunk too), he’d be outstanding in a team that had to do a lot of defending.

I suspect the unscheduled double sub at half time and the injury to Igor was probably why we didn’t see him involved
