"The rest of their lives" wouldn't be very long though if the hole is sealed and airtight, would it? So that would be a mercy of sorts.Just think, if there's some sort of horrible accident and one of the workers ends up trapped inside the space between the screens and the wrap, they'll be stuck staring at that red for the rest of their lives. Poor sods.
Obviously it'll be dark so they won't be able to tell what colour it is, but if they have a torch inside their impossibly confined and sealed airtight hole then they'd be able to see the red.
It's outrageous.
In such circumstances, nose pressed right up against the red wrapping, even seconds might seem like an eternity.
