I see he has still been the bench keeper at Hull although I appreciate it's still very early. Surely better to experience being a bench keeper for us than for Hull?

He’s not even made their bench yet. Although I’m not sure if his transfer went through in time for him to play against Leeds so he may have only been eligible for one game so far.

I think this one might end up being a failure and him coming back in January - they signed a couple of keepers in the summer and then signed Rushworth as well. I've no doubt, without even seeing the other two, that Rushworth is the best of the 3 but it might have put noses out of joint and made everyone involved unhappy.

Yeh, It often makes more sense for the loanee club to play the player that is there for the longer term unless you have a very good reason not to

Obviously it won't be a condition of the loan that he is no.1 keeper, or has to play every match - but if he doesn't he will be hooked in January and sent somewhere better, that's an absolute certainty!

Not sure how soon Rushworth will be fit but Leeds fans are up to here with Meslier, desperately want the club to sign a new keeper. Carl could do a job on loan?

That'll be nice for them to take a player who nobody has ever heard of, and turn him single handedly into a superstar, and then get upset when we ask for him to come back.

Ideally a loan to a lower level PL team would be best - he's already 'done' the Championship, with flying colours.
So, Spurs?

Jokes aside Leeds are basically lower level PL anyway. Leicester could use a keeper with Hermansen’s injury but they can’t take a second Brighton player on loan.

Wolves are probably satisfied with Jose Sa’s services - Ipswich with Walton’s too - and I expect Ramsdale will be back at Soton sooner rather than later.

Leicester are desperate for a better GK - and RVN doesn't fancy Buonanotte, so recall him and loan him somewhere else (or keep him here).

Regardless of team/division we just need to be confident of playing time for him. Sitting on a Prem bench is no good.
Fair point, yes - but playing in the PL would still be the ideal (we wouldn't send him to be a number 2 anyway)
