There is a kid in Brixton who all the top clubs are trying to sign I think he’s still under 10.
He plays for a local side, I know the manager of the side has been offered a full time well paid scouting job at Arsenal plus a large cash bonus if he can persuade the parent to let the kid sign for them. Chelsea of course went straight in with a brand new house for the mother and a load of money in her bank account.
She’s a single mother living in a council flat and so far hasn’t accepted any offers as far as I know.

Initially I thought that this was a bit much this bribery. Then thinking about it, why shouldn't the mum and manager get some of the squadrillions thrown about in the PL. Especially if the mum is a single parent in a council house. Go for it, you never know if he'll fulfill his potential, have a career ending injury etc...

Great game. I’m gutted Mbappe’s goal was offside - wonderful, wonderful skill. Reminded me of R9 not for the first time.

Vini’s got to leave Spain though. The constant abuse he’s expected to put up with means this sort of thing will happen. He’s always being goaded.

Why would you say that?!

Even if we did have this mythical no dickheads policy (we don’t, it doesn’t exist and we’ve had our fair share of dick heads anyway) - the only dickheads are the Spanish fans, media and football industry generally who constantly abuse him either blatently racial or with racist undertones. Full credit to him for not reacting more often.

Brilliant player and role model. La Liga doesn’t deserve him.
