Remember going to Upton late 70s, more whufc then Brighton in the away end, fighting all game.As a young 14 year it was an experience, Brighton took there revenge at victoria station..
They got surprised in the South Stand at the Goldstone too,1978 I think

Remember the bloke who was shagging my step mum, buying me a Sham69 album for Christmas
The one with newspaper clippings on the cover,I already had Tell UsThe Truth
I suppose that's where he got the idea from
Which I thought was bloody nice of him,he didn't have to
Having a brand new vinyl back then was really something
That’s Life…..name of the album.
I remember buying it when I was about 14, I hardly played it though as when I was walking home from buying it I got threatened and mugged, the album reminded of that.

I like Sham 69 (though their gigs descended into massed fighting) but SAS Rogue Heroes is just war pornography. I'm really interested in military history but felt dirty after watching the first episode of series 2.

I saw them at Reading Festival 77, maybe 78.

They got bottled off, and Jimmy Pursey cried.

78
I was there too.

Pursey also joined The Clash onstage at the infamous Crawley Leisure centre concert, singing White Riot for the encore.

Much as I am enjoying Rogue Heroes I am finding the Punk music soundtrack very annoying
You surprise me.

Hang on..... no, no you don't

Sorry if it’s a personal question, but wouldn’t that have been your Dad?

Loved them back in '77 and '78 and bought some of their singles, but never got to see them live then.

I saw them at Bristol recently though, Jimmy as brilliant as ever, they sang all the 70's songs

Great series notwithstanding the regular ear assault :lolol:

I guess singer/songwriter music would not really fit in with the aggressive behaviour though
I take it you've never watched the scene in Reservoir Dogs featuring the Gerry Rafferty penned "Stuck in the Middle With You" by Stealers Wheel...
