Usually get a super off peak travelcard from Worthing with a codger railcard for £21.95. Bit restrictive on times to and from, but if these work for you it’s good value.
If you’re travelling on Southern that special travel card is probably called The Hail Mary.I'm planning a day out in March, I'm not a regular train user but I used to pay about £23 and get a ticket from Horsham to Victoria plus unlimited tube and buses etc.
Does this option still exist? If so, what is it actually called?
I can't seem find it on Southern's website and I know you need a degree in cryptology to understand purchasing train tickets these days which isn't helping me find what I think I want.
Thanks for any assistance.
On the other hand I wouldn't recommend the Trainline app, same tickets are available on the Southern (or any other TOCs) app and you don't have to pay any fees, the price you see is the price you pay.Another shout for the £30 Network Railcard if you go into London a few times a year. Pays for itself very quickly.
The Trainline app is really good too.
Ah no worries. We have London Northwestern to deal with. Southern must be better. On the other hand I wouldn't recommend the Trainline app, same tickets are available on the Southern (or any other TOCs) app and you don't have to pay any fees, the price you see is the price you pay.
