It should be a quiet January.

But like every transfer window, it's best to avoid twitter / tabloid bollocks. You'll be happier if you listen to my sage advice :)

Quick conclusion. No senior players will leave

I can see us recalling a couple of loans. Rushworth, (and I think Steele will leave the club)

Barco. We just need the numbers with the preposterous numbers of injuries we pick up

A good few u23s will go out on loan I reckon. And I think we'll try to back fill

I don't think PSV will sell us Boscagli if they wouldn't in the summer. I think no senior incomings

This next January could be squad-defining. These are a good month.

Where is the option for "none of the above/other" ?

That gets my vote.
Agree. Although Leicester fans seem to think that Ferguson on loan to them with Buonanotte returning is a realistic rumour, but would be surprised.

I voted Hurzeler. But only because I wanted to see the vote results.

With only a short wait now for the January transfer window to open, and other threads seemingly concentrating on the possible incomings, it's easy to forget that we could face a battle to hold onto some.

Who do you think could go in January?

Welbeck reported to have had a bust up with the manager.

Ferguson looking likely to be the next Aaron Connolly and vanished along with his form/ability.

Estupinan missing from last night's squad amidst reported interest from Forest. If it was a player we were interested in, we'd all be suggesting the omission of that player from a match day squad was and indication of an impending incoming.

Adingra was a key player under RDZ, but seems less fancied by Fab, and goal last night aside has looked a bit rubbish recently. Rumours that RDZ might be interested in taking him to France.

March on loan? Great to see him back in the squad, but will he get enough minutes to return to fitness or full test his recovery. A loan to someone like Southampton until the end of the season might give us an indication on whether he'll be an asset next season or whether it's one serious injury too many.

Hurzeler seems to have lost full backing of the fans, and in my opinion possibly the players too judging by one or two performances and reports of bust ups. The calls for his head are getting louder by the week. Could Bloom pull the trigger and get a more experienced replacement in?
You, I was hoping

I know we are discouraged from posting derogatory comments about other NSC users, but I would be doing myself a disservice if I failed to pose the following question (a question is not a comment or a judgement, it is merely a question).

Is @junior not a complete and fully-upholstered arse-hat?

I think the joy of seeing the line

“ a complete and fully-upholstered arse-hat? “

…makes any discouragement irrelevant

If - and that is IF - we take Buonanotte back, they'd be better going for Rushworth. Please note the very large 'IF' though.

I would fully expect a few bids for Pedro Baleba and Mitoma,I doubt very much any of those 3 will leave in January but stranger things happen.

If anyone does leave it's most likely to be Evan who simply can't find his return to form without a sustained run of games,so perhaps a short loan with guaranteed minutes may do him good rather than sitting around waiting for a few minutes here and there.

Definitely wouldn't be tempted to sell Evan, when he clicks and he will,he'll be a outstanding CF.

Ferguson on loan, probably to Leeds. Moder will probably go to a Championship side gunning for the top six on a loan to buy or permanent, likely a sizeable loss considering we spent £10m on him. Not his or the club's fault.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lamptey go to West Ham or a club of that ilk, but I don't think we'll lose anyone against the club's will.

I'm more interested in whether Buonanotte and Barco end up returning tbh. Maybe even Moran?

Very unlikely we will sign anyone for this window.
