Watched it this evening, and really enjoyed it as always, it was like they’d never been away. The new voice actor for Wallace was superb and honestly, I’d never have even known it wasn’t Peter Sallis if he hadn’t sadly passed away. Some genuine laugh out loud moments, the
high speed chase on the narrowboats
gave me a good chuckle. Loved the movie references and classic soundtrack.

Feathers McGraw is my favourite character so it was awesome to see him return.

9/10 - just really good fun. Love the series and thrilled it came back with such a great entry into the series. Nick Park is just brilliant at what he does.

After a Feathers McGraw t-shirt now with my “Christmas money”

It was wonderful. Best thing, well ok, the only thing, I watched on TV over Christmas, apart from some football. As others have said, it’s the gloriously witty background details, the signs and the book titles and newspaper headlines etc., that add so much. It’s like watching two comedies at once — the main narrative and the semi-hidden jokes. It’s brilliant.

The Wrong Trousers is one of the best films I’ve seen of any genre.
Agreed. I don't think this one was quite up to that standard, but then as that standard was so high it was a big ask.

But yes I enjoyed it. As others have said it's the unmentioned visual gags that make it: the Virginia Woof book , the 'Walkies on the Wild Side' LP, the 'No Parkin' and 'Keep Out' / 'No, you keep out' signs on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border, etc.

It'll be interesting to see how this goes at the Oscars. I believe all the previous Wallace and Gromit films have won in at least one category.

I watched it last night. Thoroughly enjoyable and some great little touches which made me chuckle.

"Anton Deck" reading the news :lolol:

The Yorkshire/Lancashire "Keep Out" "No, you keep out" signs :lolol:

I thought Reece Shearsmith was the perfect choice for the Norbots.

Well for what it's worth another cracking effort, the quips like Anton Deck Accrington Queen so essentially British maybe even English and the spat between Lancashire and Yorkshire is so simple but true, which makes me wonder if say other nations get the humour as it very subtle. So hopefully in the so called New Year's honours list instead of the usual have beens and suspects can we have arise Sir Gromit ?

Saw this on Reddit and really made me laugh. It’s the crossover I never knew I needed!
