Struggling to see us winning many of these games without some serious good fortune going our way. However a trip to Old Trafford might be exactly what we need.
When you have a collective loss of confidence ( e.g Man C ) it doesn't come back quickly. You have to strangle a win somewhere, however you manage it. We are a side that keeps missing big chances in games. As games progress, we start to lose our composure and become a bit desperate. Wise old heads are needed. We are missing Gross, Welbeck and Milner. Dunk has lost an edge to his game. we have lost a bit of grit and steel in our side. Baleba repairs the mistakes that Enciso, Pervis, Ayari, Mitoma, O'Riley, Minteh and Adingra make all the time but he cant be everywhere at once. There is simply too much overplaying in the side. A tendency for one pass too many near the box. A failure to shoot quickly. A failure to deliver quality balls into the box.
Does the manager know his best side. Do any of us know his best side? Too many changes. Too many unanswered questions re new players. One CF injured. The other way off the pace. Pedro confused and ineffective. It ain't great. Dunk and JPVH not at their commanding best. It could be quite a wait for the next win.......although.......got a sneaky feeling about Villa.....due something.....a draw.....nah.....fck all this negativity.......we are going to win 2-1......and now I'm off for some more medicine.
Play shit against the teams we all expect them to beat and the excel against ones we expect a trouncing off. Think Villa will be a much better performance as they will come at us and not low block
