Disagree about Enciso. Thought he was very poor. Surprised he wasn't subbed at half time.
We’ll agree to disagree. I thought he was our biggest threat for much of the first half, and was delighted with him considering how little football he’s played.

He missed chances, there’s no doubt about that. But if we pulled players off for missing chances, then none of our forwards would ever get a game.

Solly coming on. Although he did almost play us into trouble by letting the ball run out when the Brentford player got to it. I think Dunk spared his blushes by defending the cross.

I missed the first 40 mins, so will have to trust the consensus on here and the stats that we should’ve been 2+ ahead. The following screenshot from around 30 mins shows us as utterly dominant.

Veltman. Breezes into the greatest Albion XI, a footballing god.
The return of Solly.
I feel so good after cycling.
That’s my Albion lot for a while, off skiing, happy about that. By the time I return I hope FH has coached a team that can defend the counter and score.
You might want to stay on the slopes until the end of the ski season…

Taking a step back from last night's disappointing result, we have only lost 4 matches out of 18 in the league this season.

4! Only Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea have lost fewer.

We are obviously hard to beat which is a positive, and it's clear where we need to improve. At least in my view we have a fairly solid foundation to build from, getting at least a point from most matches.

Gruda, MoR, Enciso, Mitoma

Also, the bandaged Dutchman looked to be exerting control.... ( Though without much support)...

Good post. We are creating chances but decision making needs to improve. That comes with confidence.

Clean sheet, Solly returning and but for deflection would’ve scored the winner.

Yep. A few goals, rather than hitting the post, and the confidence will be back. We’re a lot closer to being a very good team than we are to being the terrible team the bed wetters seem to think we are.

It just seemed everyone we had the ball in their box they had 9 players on there as well so we just couldn’t get through them.

They defended very well, if they hadn’t of then we would have got at least one or two

Thought the defence did better than in some recent games. In one particular counter Baleba for once properly tracked n hassled their midfield runner and JpVH made an excellent block in the box.

Anyone not delighted for Solly deserves a visit from a selection of ghosts now Christmas is over
