This is the 21.33 to Hastings leaving Falmer half empty after the game. Hundreds of supporters are on the bridge / ramp being stopped from getting on board. Piss poor organisation as usual. At least fill up the trains that are actually running. This has been going on too long.

No idea. I left on the full whistle from West Upper. I was on my way to University car park as given up on the trains, especially for night games. Got fed up getting back to Hastings after midnight.
Problem was I don't think that train was expected, it certainly wasn't on the live feed when we were on the ramp, the next train due was the Seaford which arrived almost immediately after that one. We got on the next one, the Lewes only and back home in Bexhill at 1050

Trains were ok today. No commuters so more rolling stock and fewer regular punters going East coast on the way there. Coming back the queue cleared far better than other evening games going to Brighton.

When I take the train I always go back toward Brighton, are people deliberately skipping trains because they aren’t going to where they specifically want to go (e.g. skipping a Seaford train because they’re going to Eastbourne) rather than just doing the sensible thing of piling everyone on and sorting it out at Lewes?
