Was lovely to watch this evening, getting better and better.

Got lovely feet and quick on the ball. Small but doesn't come across as lightweight. Getting used to the PLs lack of time on the ball and not getting caught as much as he had been.

Still only 20.

No magic as yet but he’s got a sound technique, a decent touch and makes sensible decisions with the ball.
One of the more promising of the summer signings.

He reminds me a lot of Eden Hazard. If he was only half as good as him, in his prime, I'd be very happy.

Hope he works on his standing foot in the summer.
Fantastic first 30 minutes, then Brentford worked out his left foot was the danger.

Still prefer him to Adingra.

not sure i’d have taken him off but will be good if he can get another start against villa. said it on the main match thread, if he can just build some strength and maybe put on a bit of weight, he’ll be unstoppable

Really, I thought it was more that we stopped passing him the ball.
Agree with this. Sit in SW so had prime view of his excellent first half performance then for some reason in the second stopped passing to him despite the fact he stayed wide and in space on many occasions. Much more positional discipline than Enciso.

I dont agree with all this praise for performance on Friday. One of reasons Mitoma had a quitish game was because he was marked by 2/3 defenders. This left Gruda with loads of room and many one on ones which he didnt make most off and certainly cant remember him once going on outside. All round us were saying if only Mitoma had that many one on ones.
