Europa League: 97 minutes
FA Cup: 21 minutes

In the (at least) 1045 minutes (11,6 full games) he has played for us since last scoring, he has produced 3 assists (two against Wolves about 15 months ago and one against Crawley in the League Cup this season).

Sometimes starting, sometimes not. For instance he got the chance in all three league cup games this season but unfortunately couldn't manage to score against League One opposition despite 7 attempts.

As a professional footballer, Julio Enciso is expected to perform something whether he is starting games (which he has done quite a few times over the last two seasons, producing 0 goals), coming on to turn games around (0 goals) or defend a lead (0 goals).

Enciso needs to perform when he's getting the chance and he isn't, and because we're a Premier League club we can't provide even the biggest of talents with endless chances to produce nothing.

He's a massive talent but if he wants to play he needs to perform. He's young but has been around for 2.5 years and its not surreal to at this point demand more maturity on the pitch than shooting 5-6 times from shite angles every game while not scoring. He makes it REALLY hard for any manager to pick him.

He'll get a chance or two in the next few weeks but if he goes empty handed, he goes on loan. Imo.

Its a striker/attacking midfielder with 0 goals and 1 assist (against Crawley) since August 2023 and 0 goals for us since May the same year.
In the last two seasons, Enciso has taken 88 shots for club and country, scoring 2 goals (both for Paraguay).

1 goal per 44 shots makes it very difficult for a manager to pick a player.

To make a comparison, Aaron Connolly shot 80 times in total for Brighton, scoring 8 goals. This makes Aaron Connolly 4.4 times more efficient than Julio Enciso.

I thought he looked fresh against Palace and thought he would start against West Ham, but I have full understanding if the manager decides he doesn't want to start a footballer who haven't performed anywhere near an acceptable level in a long time.

He’s played under 200 minutes this year. Give the guy a run of games and then judge.

Took a couple of games to get up to speed but looked great off the bench against Leicester and then was excellent against West Ham until the injury.
