The “back in training” line would suggest not, but we’ve been less than honest in those injury updates before.

The only 25 minutes of football all season would also suggest not.

However, the fact this thread has appeared…….

Do we know Solly’s on the bench as per the thread title states or is this wishful thinking?

The lastest I heard, it was going to take longer.

Don’t see the point putting him even for 10 minutes if he’s not fully ready - we don’t want another Fati ( or Pervis!) or a repeat of his U21 in November.

Hürzeler seemed to suggest either Webster or March could be back in - Webster seems more likely?

It's because Hurzeler, in his presser, said he may feature. The same with Webster.

Latest fitness test has him at 25% apparently.
I mean this gently, but did you actually read my post?

I asked "Is today the day?", before stating I have no inside info.

Did you read mine? I initially read and was referring to the thread TITLE and asking which was correct - “Solly March back in the matchday squad” - a statement in the title or rather a question which you have now changed it to since I posted, and added the question mark. Your OP question now makes more sense to me in relation to the thread title.

I don’t know how linked or ITK the PL injury updates are but according to today’s update as to late fitness tests, they have March on 25%, Webster on 50%.

Hopefully, though that may well mean someone else is missing so not great in that regard.

I would imagine we see him in 1-2 more U21 games before really using him but would be happy to see a couple of "symbolic" minutes tonight when we're leading 2-0... actually, lets say 3-0...

Solly will have a long way to go still to condition up to come close to Minteh’s speed I reckon, he wasn’t as fast before his injury but, I think there could be some merit in them rotating depending on who the opposition FBs are. Solly is a seasoned and intelligent player who, if Danny isn’t playing will give us the maturity of thinking we have been lacking up front at times but he’ll be no match for exceptionally fast fullbacks and not sure how a serious meniscus injury will impact on his dribbling skills. It certainly changed Fati’s style of play.

I wonder if Hürzeler might use him in a more deeper central position?
March back in squad = mojo up to 11
Webster back in squad = mojo instantly back down to around 6

I think March will 're-appear' vs Norwich

That was what I was thinking - less intense, slightly easier opposition.

Now that really is wishful thinking.
