Description from the website...

''Phase three will see an additional 1901 Club area added to the north stand, which will help boost capacity at the Amex to 32,500 and is due to open in time for the 2026/27 season. The new hospitality area will offer a more pub-like vibe for home fans only. Alongside the Dugout, those will be the only 1901 Club areas that will allow fans to wear replica shirts; and the new members area will be specifically aimed at those fans who want to be at the heart of the atmosphere and show their support for the team.''

So somewhere in between hospitality and regular seats?
That exactly what I was hoping for, I imagine this will be very popular.

Incredible level of investment and so no complaints at all. Thank you, as ever, TB.

However, I am surprised/disappointed that a tiny bit of £40M could not have been spent on improving the post match experience such as covering the queues for the p and r and train. It’s often not the queuing time that makes people leave early but standing in the rain getting soaked.

annoying it’s taking that long, the fact that it’s the only away ‘end’ in the league and that several managers and players have complained about it just exemplifies the sheer lunacy of the situation. it consistently handicaps any perceived ‘home advantage’ we might have.

also good that more seats are going in the north. maybe people from east and west stands who actually want to sing and not be chastised for supporting the team can go there. can only assume it means some headway is being made with the transport situation, as adding another 1,000 people to the existing chaos seems like a terrible idea

Or they all go into the South stand?

When the stadium first opened my season ticket was initially in the east lower towards the south end. With the away fans in the south. The away fans then got moved to where my season ticket was. The club called me personally to give me lots of notice, helped me decide where i'd like to move, and gave me first choice of some amazing new seats. & also allowed me for my first season in the upgraded seat to purchase it for the same ST price as the one I had been in. Since then I have had a season ticket in the first few rows of the east upper, bang on the half way line. In my opinion its the perfect seat, such a good view. Basically, we should give the club a bit of credit in that anyone who is asked to move is well looked after.
Same. My father again, but when he died my brother, who sat with him, wanted to move closer to me and his friends. The club went well beyond our expectations at what was a very difficult time. The club also helped me out significantly in the aftermath of my illness which coincided with the first Europe games.

Maybe the personal touch will get lost trying to move 3000 plus supporters but to say the club are not helpful, as some are suggesting, it totally wide of the mark from my experience; they have far exceeded my expectations.

It’s only another 400 people though. The ground currently holds 31,800 and the capacity will rise to 32,500 which was what the last planning application sought.

Relieved that the away fans are being moved to the West side rather than the East. For the Euro games E3G (East Upper) had away fans who were sat 15 seats away from us.
Wouldn't want away fans sat there every game.
Which brings me on to seat transfers in 2027. If W3A was taken over by away fans could someone in W3B ask to be moved as a priority?

Sorry but when do people who sing get chastised by fellow west and east stand fans?

The only maths I don’t get is it’s costing £40m for only 700 extra seats. I would have thought the money could be better spent on the overall matchday experience.
All I want for Christmas is a monorail?
