[Albion] How much is Joao Pedro worth?

I thought he had his worst game for us last week at Leicester, just awful play acting. Not much better today, it was shocking to see that Palace CB burn him for pace

what does everyone think was his role yesterday? He was coming deeper than Kane or wider than Mitoma. I reckon he got in other people’s way about ten times yesterday. I think my favourite was when he went to Mitoma’s area and crossed the ball to his own area but he was not there so the keeper caught it. When Tariq charged forward late in the first half he was dawdling back from an offside position and got in his way.

I felt sorry for Rutter yesterday who seemed to have no idea what he was meant to be doing. It was fun when another 10 was brought on just to make sure we had three people in each other’s way.

I am thoroughly confused by the last few weeks.

In all honesty, I think we're worse for trying to shoehorn in Pedro and Rutter in the same way we brought Dunk back into a defence that was working perfectly well until then.

That's not a criticism of any of those players, by the way.

I've noticed this as well. In particular he seems to want to occupy the same space as Mitoma a lot. It's got vibes of England trying to play Gerrard and Lampard.

I think yesterday, he was supposed to be leading the line, but he got it wrong. There was plenty of space in behind and he hardly ever spun and went, which I think would have got them turned and under pressure in that first half.

In the second half, particularly when Evan came on, Joao put himself, or was put, in a free role. I get this, he's got the skillset to pull this off. But yes, it certainly didn't look joined up

He played as a number 10 like everyone else

We can stop all the guessing now. Quite a few random articles popping up today claiming that Liverpool have now ''found out/established'' what price we would sell JP for. And the magic number is £60m.

£60m with some attainable add ons I expect. Maybe £70m in total.
Appears it won’t happen until the summer so best he knuckles down and doesn’t make an arse of himself which could put Liverpool off.
He just needs to look at how Alexis McAllister behaved to set his example.

The club want £100 m for him , they don’t have to sell , so that is the going price

Don't have to but might want to and then £100m looks steep right now.
