which is more to be said than some midlands team with a song about a place in Scotland as their walkout tuneI wonder what all those clubs have in common (speaking geographically)??

No, they come out to Liquidator and London Calling is played pre match. Depending on the final score seems to influence what they play after the game, usually Blue is the colour and Blue Day, if it's a stonking win then it's One Step Beyond...Have Chelsea replaced Liquidator with London Calling?
London Calling? I’d have thought another Clash song was more appropriate for them…Yeah and knowing CPFC2010’s loose relationship with history they will tell you that London is part of Croydon and that they founded both in 58BC before Julius even spotted our island just to the North of Gaul on his map (which is probably an image on @Giraffe ’s excellent Interesting Maps thread).
Do Wolves still use Liquidator too?Have Chelsea replaced Liquidator with London Calling?
Has to be really. Jones lived in a council flat overlooking the West Way. I'd accept Fulham nicking it too. Down by the river.I always thought it was QPRs song ?
No.Is Croydon actually in London?
West Ham's ground is right next to a river (the Lea), although perhaps not the one suggested in the song.Only Fulham actually 'live' by the river surely?
Brentford v close to the Thames at Kew. As mentioned earlier, Strummer was living by the river in Chelsea when he wrote the song. It’s "I live by the river" not "we play football by the river."Fulham have used it to walk out to at the start of the 2nd half for at least a decade. And, as @essbee1 & @Harry Wilson's tackle state, we are the only ones who do actually 'live by the river'.
I’d go with this. West Ham can just f*** off. It's a fantastic song and there shouldn't be a problem with any clubs playing it. For the teams coming out to it, I think it needs to be west London.
It is odd. All I can think of is that was number one for weeks over 77/78. Perhaps they adapted it then and for some reason it stuck. That was the year they won the league.which is more to be said than some midlands team with a song about a place in Scotland as their walkout tune
Definitely Everton and still is their pre-match music play.Wasn't Z cars a theme for Watford and maybe Everton ? Never worked that one out.
