I like what I've see so far. Goes about his job well, and to date fairly safely. After a run of games I can see him start to be more positive going forward.

His free-kicks could do with a bit of work - but then that could be said for anyone in the team.....

Why do people keep quoting the price tags of the players we bought?! It’s irrelevant and £25m is nothing in modern PL terms.

He’s 20 years old, just moved to a new country and league and he’s barely played. Give him a chance FFS!

Looks a talent to me.
I'm sure these people also wrote off Caiceido and Mac Allister after just a few games. Idiots!

Genuinely thought this post was satire/a joke.

Embarrassing. How miserable and entitled are some people these days? It's nearly Christmas pal, cheer up! 😂

Remember we're supposed to be "supporters" so let's get behind our new players and support them! 🙌

Forget the price tag, less than £40m doesn't get any guaranteed PL quality. He's young, and just starting to get game time (not 5 min cameos). That means he's doing well in training and our coach has seen that! And FYI he was better than half the people on the pitch yesterday, so pipe down.

Rather than shitting on our new signings who will likely need a season to hit their stride, enjoy the fact we're in the top 10, have people coming back from injury, a bunch of young unpolished diamonds being polished and things will only get better as the team gel.

Also not sure if you saw his off the ball movement a lot.

He had at least two moments from West Ham corners where he was running through the middle with nobody tracking him and the player in possession didn't make the pass, if they had he would have been through on goal.

Partnerships and patterns of play take time. Georginio and Welbeck hit it off straight away, but that hasn’t naturally happened with JP, but then again form and belief have dropped off at the same time.

The positives of Georginio, Gruda, Mitoma, Minteh, Adingra, Enciso is they all offer something a bit different. Minteh seemed out of sorts v Palace, but seemed unplayable when he came on yesterday and really he should have assisted a couple of goals.

As with any drop in form, mistakes end up punished and presentable chances missed. I’m a lot more positive about the next games than I was after Sunday.

Out of the players we bought this summer, Gruda has the best chance to become a real world star. Him and Yalcouye are those I have literally zero concerns about... they will both end up very good.

None of these young players are going to be able to build up any form/momentum if they're not getting enough gametime. That's the biggest negative about this season so far for me, players like Enciso, Ferguson and Gruda not getting the gametime required for them to develop, in addition to Facu and Barco being shipped out after being our best-performing young players at the end of last season.

The “problem” is he won’t get to play next game and get some consistency going. He tried things yesterday but needs way more time.

I think's he's like a MacAllister or Caicedo. First season, very indifferent (and off bench a lot), but came alive second season.

Personally, I think this season we'll finish mid- to upper table, but next year will be pushing for top 4-6. Based on how many players will "come good".

and we need a bit of patience. We have a squad and someone needs to miss out. A criticism of RDZ was he changed it too much and players didn’t get a chance to settle. I feel FH is striking a reasonable balance - take Wieffer, he’s coming good after the horror of Wolves at home, and Gruda is looking good. Perhaps the minutes he’s getting is about right for his development and settling into football and life in the UK.

OK, OK, so this thread is real?

I had in mind it was an elaborate prank with a few posters who know each other trying to snare a few unsuspecting people

But now? I admit. I just don't know

Never saw the game yesterday but he certainly looked OK against Liverpool in the cup. I think a few of the new players need time and a run in the side, Wieffer was better yesterday by all accounts and I think Ferdi is another.

You can all come back at me with blah blah rubbish, not one has posted what he can do yet, please enlighten me.
Most of us are patiently waiting to see what he is capable of given more game time rather than starting ridiculous knee-jerk reactionary threads about players who are only just getting started.

Ignored.
