No, I'm just grateful that I get to see the greatest ever Albion side become one of the best clubs in the world, which we genuinely are.

We have a young side oozing with talent. Poor form/results/performances are inevitable from time to time. We've already been spoiled with some great goals/performances/results this season... and still very much in the mix for Europe and beyond.

I do find overly entitled and/or negative fans a pain in the arse. I would be happy if they all f***ed off to Liverpool, where they'd probably be happier winning every week. These fans spoil the BHAFC experience, and the Amex atmosphere. They make NSC an absolute cesspit after a poor result.

Also, sometimes, our players will get to see the negative comments. I'd rather they didn't.

I love this about sport, and football in particular - as you anticipate the game/match/frame/set/innings you have an idea of the expected form, but you never really know what you're going to get and you won't know the result until the final whistle. Against any opposition it could go either way. And we've seen that a lot in the last year in the PL. Long may the excitement continue.

It is a fairytale story, not just some narrative.

The way you are presenting this is as if Bloom is mindlessly pumping money into the club to buy success - he isn't. He is investing into the future of the club, rather than aiming to buy success immediately. He will expect to recoup this £200m, and then some, in future seasons through player sales.

It is a fairytale. We are one of the best sides in the best league in the world - I still think back to the days at Withdean and have to pinch myself that TB has got us this far. Rome wasn't built in a day, but something tells me Rome is being built here at BHAFC - and we WILL win a major trophy in the coming seasons. But we need to be patient - and also do our bit by being AMAZING supporters, not entitled negative fuckwits.

Its lucky we were only playing Crystal Palace when we had a bad day at the office, can you imagine what Real Madrid would have done to us given we are one of the best sides in the best league in the world and all that...;)

No, I don’t think I am. There’s always that “remember where we were” mentality, but that’s the mentality that stops clubs and businesses progressing, and we are very much run as a business.

The reality is, we’ve invested incredible amounts since promotion and we’ve raised the bar getting into Europe. Expectations have to be adjusted according to that. If you want to be a consistent top 10 premier league club who pushes for Europe regularly, then your fans’ expectations should match that.

You can’t then complain if your fans get frustrated when you don’t meet those standards.

Is meeting these standards measurable after every game or over a number of seasons if we are to compare it to running a business - I think it's the latter, so I'm not sure you can quote that we are not meeting said standards half way through one season after some less than flattering results?

If a business doesn't meet it's standards for a few weeks or months, do you think most businesses would just pack it in ;-)

Most successful businesses have regular progress meetings, and many assess quarterly. This quarter has been a lot less successful than the first quarter of the season.

As to your first point, I don’t make the decisions, so it doesn’t really matter what I think - I’m also not privy to what TBs expectations and KPIs are, so I cannot judge against those.

However, as a fan, I’d be lying if I said I was impressed with the current management team given the resources they’ve been given. Many of our performances have been below the level I would’ve expected given the investment. But, again, I appreciate many disagree with that. I won’t, however, apologise for wanting our club to improve.

Why? Man City weren’t that dissimilar to us prior to their huge invest. Would anyone sit here and tell them to remember where they came from? Or that their investment of £100s of millions was planned to allow them to be sustainable in future years…?

After several seasons of fighting to stay in the Prem, after the last few successful seasons I do feel we are a little entitled to not be dragged down in a relegation battle.

Correct - you can't judge if you are not privy to TB's expectations are, but the point is, like very successful business people, he won't knee jerk after a short run (currently) and I suspect he is happy with our current process.

The problem is our results haven't been linear - if we had beaten the teams we are expected to beat and lost to the teams we were expecting to lose to, then if we are in exactly the same position as at now, then it's not a problem. Let's not forget this is our 2nd best points total at this stage of the season. Not many things in life are linear, but I'm assuming the knee jerkers sense/feel that our drop off in form (all teams will have this, blimey Fulham couldn't beat Southampton today) will also be linear downwards - it's highly unlikely it will be.

Regarding the £200m investment, in the big scheme of things, this isn't a huge investment and was made at a time which was advantageous for TB and the Club, in the midst of PSR having a negative impact on most Premier League Clubs, many who had to sell to remain compliant. So that window was not normal when comparing to other windows, if PSR wasn't constraining other teams, our investment would probably appeared "middle of the road".

A £200m investment does not equal immediate results in football - just look how much Chelsea have invested in previous seasons (£200m for two PL ready CB's!) and they were a basket case for quite a while - things are now beginning to click for them and it's taken a lot more than 18 games. And of course, they can attract and pay the wages of players like Cole Palmer - like it or loathe it, we as a Club won't change our wage structure or strategy regardless of what fans might think.

The £200m investment on rough diamonds may indeed work in the future, but equally it may not - it's our model!

We really aren't. The Premier League has seen a number of sides who were up for some time then fell. Stoke City is one that comes to mind.
