Also the seats in block X2 towards the goal appeared to be unavailable in a straight line down the rows - about 270 seats there. Surely cannot all be for friends, family & sponsors. Unless anyone has a seat number above 130 to prove me wrong!
Reserved for segregation in the event we don’t take block Y ?

Sometime this morning the rest of the seats in block X2 were released, just Y1 to go now.
At the moment there are just over 900 left of the 2373 released so far.

Y1 now open. So the best seats weren't available to those with higher points nor the season ticket holders who purchased this morning. Why why why?!

I am surprised at the apparent apathy to simply try to offer a decent explanation or even remedy for this ongoing silliness.

A combination of the home club deciding which to offer first and reserving block nearest their own support to us if not sold to away team, and us not being sure we could sell the total possible allocation.

FFS. I bought in W2 earlier, as my lad wouldn't shut up and wait for Y1. :ffsparr:

Seems East Midlands Trains are sit anywhere as seats cant be pre-booked, certainly on the trains I am booked on
Be prepared for chaos at St Pancras. Similar thing last year as there were engineering works closing down Kings Cross so there were more passengers going north from St Ps. They had a queuing system which was full of people catching trains at different times which meant many didn't get on their booked train. We were able to blag our way to the front and were let on our train just as it was leaving. However the bloody thing was virtually empty (about 6 on our carriage) because they were more concerned with avoiding delay repay than actually getting people on trains.

Now I've got a ticket in the potentially-rain-affected front rows I am in full sympathy with those who have been complaining about this for ages...

Surely it’s because they’re the blocks that the home club can sell?
If we committed to take the full allocation (which we should) then it wouldn’t be an issue. When was the last time we didn’t sell out Forest away on a Saturday?

There has been an explanation, over and over again, pretty much on every away ticket thread!
Indeed there has and normally we can see some sense to it even if we do not know what conversations are going on between the clubs. In this instance though, sales have not been particularly rapid and there is only the members window to go which normally accounts to 200-300 seats sold. So unless a lot of people change their mind about this one or are genuinely waiting to see the situation in the new year (which is info the club do not have privy to) then what has caused the club to release the whole of Y1 now?
I would also compare with Man U where a similar release of seats quantity wise has not been expanded upon despite there now being very few left.
